Frequently asked questions

Who can join, and how much does it cost?

Anyone can apply to join the Kapibara Social Referral Program. We review every application manually, and joining is completely free.

How does a referral work?

Once your application is approved, you’ll receive a personal referral code. Share it with people and businesses who could be a good fit for Kapibara Social. The potential client must use your code the first time they contact us. Registering a referral protects your attribution for 90 days and helps avoid confusion if more than one person refers the same company.

What does the referred company get, and how much do I earn?

The referred company gets 10% off their first month.

You get a referral commission equal to 10% of the first three net monthly payments Kapibara Social receives from that client.

When and how is the commission paid?

Once your commission is confirmed, with no refunds, unpaid invoices, chargebacks, or pending issues, we’ll ask you for an invoice.

Approved commissions are paid within 30 days of receiving a correct invoice. Each partner is responsible for their own taxes, VAT, and any transfer fees that apply.

What happens with a refund, or if two people refer the same business?

If a payment is refunded, cancelled, unpaid, or charged back, the related commission is no longer payable. If it’s already been paid, we may deduct it from future commissions or ask for it back.

If a business is referred by more than one person, the referral is usually credited to whoever registered a valid referral first, or whose code was used at first contact. Kapibara Social makes the final call in case of any dispute.

Are there rules for referring Kapibara Social?

Yes. We ask you to represent Kapibara Social honestly, professionally, and in line with applicable law.

You may not post codes on coupon sites, send spam, run paid ads without authorisation, make misleading claims, or hide the fact that you may earn a commission. If you refer Kapibara Social to your own client, you must clearly disclose that you may receive a commission.

Terms and conditions of the program

The referred person or business gets 10% off their first month. The referrer earns 10% of the first three net monthly payments, subject to the program’s terms.

Read the full terms and conditions

These terms supplement Kapibara Social’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Eligible plans
The Referral Program currently applies only to monthly subscriptions. Future quarterly, half-yearly, or annual plans may have different terms or may not be included in the program.

2. Commission
The referral commission equals 10% of the first three net monthly payments Kapibara Social receives from a valid referred client. Commissions are only confirmed after each subscription month is complete. No commission is earned on taxes, discounts, credits, refunds, failed payments, reversed payments, chargebacks, add-on services, or any amount Kapibara Social hasn’t actually received.

3. Invoicing and payment
Once a commission is confirmed, Kapibara Social will request an invoice before paying it. Approved commissions are paid within 30 days of receiving the invoice. The partner is responsible for providing correct bank details and for covering any taxes, VAT, bank fees, and tax obligations that apply to them.

4. Refunds, returns, and adjustments
If a client receives a refund, credit, return, or adjustment, or if their payment is cancelled, unpaid, or charged back, the related commission is no longer payable. If it’s already been paid, Kapibara Social may deduct it from future commissions or ask for it to be returned.

5. Using your code and registering referrals
The partner must use the referral registration process honestly, and only for people or companies they genuinely know or have a legitimate professional relationship with. The partner must not share third parties’ personal data without a proper legal basis and, where required, without their prior consent.

Registering a referral doesn’t guarantee that the referred person or company will be accepted as a client. Kapibara Social evaluates each application on its own criteria and may accept or decline it. Kapibara Social may also reject a referral if it considers the details incorrect, incomplete, duplicated, fraudulent, or contrary to these terms.

6. Conduct and promotion
The partner must comply with applicable laws on advertising, commercial communications, data protection, and privacy. Spam, coupon sites, misleading practices, unauthorised paid advertising, and anything that could damage Kapibara Social’s reputation are not allowed.

7. Independent relationship
Taking part in the Referral Program doesn’t create an employment, agency, distribution, partnership, franchise, or representation relationship between the partner and Kapibara Social. The partner may not make commitments, promises, or act on Kapibara Social’s behalf.

8. Changes, suspension, and cancellation
Kapibara Social may modify, suspend, or cancel the Referral Program, and may end a partner’s participation, for reasonable cause, including fraud, breach of these terms, improper promotional activity, or incorrect information. Cancellation won’t affect commissions that have already been properly confirmed, unless they’re later subject to a refund, return, non-payment, chargeback, or fraud.

9. Liability
Kapibara Social doesn’t guarantee a minimum number of referrals, conversions, clients, or commissions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kapibara Social won’t be liable for indirect losses, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, or damages arising from participation in this program. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t legally be excluded.

10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless a mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
